MBA’s first water-based, colourless treatment for Eclopan mineral slabs: Wall Protective.

MBA Italia, the Group’s leading company for designing and manufacturing environmentally-friendly materials for the industrial and construction sector, has made, in collaboration with a new Italian partner, the first human- and environmentally-friendly, water-based, natural, protective eco-treatment entirely designed by MBA.

Nicoletta De Polo, general manager of MBA Italia, explains to us that‘Eclopan, the mineral slab initially used only as wall infill in our dry constructions, can now be also be used as a finishing or finish design element, hence the need to create a protective treatment against external agents such as rain, atmospheric dust, etc.’. 

 The aim will be to have a full range of treatments: from vertical surfaces for façades, to horizontal ones for floors up to a line of primers for skim coats.
